Filling protocol

For the perfect conservation of the barrel, once it has been received by the customer, it is advisable to follow the following guidelines:

Icon 1

The barrel has been tested with water and sulphured in our facilities. We recommend the customer to wash the barrel with hot water (70º), drain it well, and fill it with wine.

If the cask is not to be filled immediately upon receipt, we recommend not removing the plastic wrap from the cask. When filling, wash and sulphurise the barrel again.

Store the barrel in a conditioned room with a relative humidity of 70%.

Avoid sun, draughts and sudden changes in temperature.
